It documents changes made to the base package in order to add functionality required by the author of the changes, Scott Leighton. Although others are welcome to incorporate these changes into their CATS system, the author is not able to provide support of any kind so do so at **your own risk**.

The information documented here may be usable on a Windows-based system with appropriate adjustments, but the author has not tested under Windows and has no plans to do so.
